Trento, August 26th, 2016
After the first three weeks of preparation constantly carried out with the team, Matey Kaziyski prepares to say goodbye to "his" Trentino Volley and move back to Japan.
Those incurred in the weight room this morning and on center court in the afternoon were in fact the last training hours of the Bulgarian spiker in PalaTrento before flying, on Saturday, to Asia and to begin his second consecutive experience in careers in the land of the rising sun.
In the first twenty days of activity, Matey has once again confirmed all the technical and human qualities that the Trentino public already knows well since 2007 helping in every way the team of Lorenzetti during all his sessions. To him goes the thanks of the Company and the Trentino environment. "I'm anxious to begin, and at the same time a bit sad because my summer in Trento came to an end” - admitted Kaziyski to the microphone of Trentino Volley Tv -”These weeks of work with the team have been very useful, I found myself very well with everyone but this is nothing new because I could rejoin teammates who I already knew well and who this season returned to play for this club. I was pleased to train with Lorenzetti, a technician who already knew but always met as an opponent; Angelo is pursuing his idea of game and for this reason the players of the squad, old or new, will have to learn many new things. I think it's exciting for them”.
"Honestly, I didn’t follow much the summer volley market and so I struggle to make comparisons, but in my opinion this Trentino Volley is a good team and can do well in all competitions in which will take part. Trento will always be in the running to win” - added Matey, who still now is the Club Absolute bomber with 4,945 points -”I will follow Diatec Trentino as I have done already during the last season through internet, keep supporting them. Meanwhile I with my JTEKT (the team with which he plays in Japan, ed) I will try to improve the results of the last championship; our goal is to take a further step forward, improving the fourth place. In its history, the JTEKT has never won major titles and therefore has a great hunger for success. It would be great to be able to get them right now. Greetings to Trento and have a great good season to everyone!"
The third week of preparation will end on Saturday morning at Gardolo pool in Trento North with an hour and a half of workout to be performed entirely in water.
